My wife had her medical exam back in may, she was 26, turning 27 at the end of may. She was required to get the HPV vaccine because she was 26 years old, and the vaccine is required for ages 11-26. She turned 27 at the end of the month and no longer falls into the age requirement. I am in the military so we used the military hospital for her vaccines and fax them to our civil surgeon which was recommended from the dr to save us money. The military hospital does not want to vaccinate her for hpv now that she is 27.

She called her civil surgeon whoa agreed she is no longer of the age requirement, but mentioned that some people had been sent back even though they weren't in the age requirement for the vaccine. Since the form is already sent she told us to wait and see what happens.

We would like to be prepared. Has anyone else been in this situation, what do you think will happen. Will she get an RFE for the vaccines or would it get brought up at hte interview, or do you think they will realize she is not in the agegroup anymore and not bother with it?

HPV is a requirement for AOS, not K1. If your wife was 27 when she sent off for AOS and had a newly completed vaccination form then she should be fine. I did the same thing. My medical was in may and I turned 27 in June. I entered in July and adjusted in August. I had a civil surgeon complete a new vaccination form for me (I had to have TDAP done) and sent it all off. The CS certified that all required vaccinations were completed.
