Hello, I have a few question I'm hoping some of you will be able to help me with.

Question # 1... I am unable to work and do not meet the amount described on the poverty guidelines, since I am on SSI,

Can my mother and father both file as joint sponser,?

Question # 2...

Can you use SSI and or Disability included in the household income?

I thank you for your help... hope you have a great day.

question #1, yes, I believe so, that is what I will be doing as I do not meet income requirements

question #2, not sure, but this is what i copied n pasted off of the instructions on the form: "If your claimed incomeincludes alimony, child support, dividend or interest income,or income from any other source, you may also includeevidence of that income."

You will have to file an I-864, even though you are not working. You as the petitioner will always be the primary sponsor.

You can have 1 other person act as a joint sponsor- either your mother or your father will do, but not both. One of them will have to meet the requirements individually to be of help.
