Witness the monopoly of the oil industry, that hasn't driven down oil price at the pump. We used to have several brand of gas stations where the newcomers or little guy would give you cheaper gas, in turn the other major station Shell, Chevron and so on are kept in check because of competition.

Then what happen, the Govt allowed BP to buy 76 gas station, then poor folks used to get cheaper gas at ARCO BP take them over therefore eliminating competion, it's sad when people keep refering to MONOPOLY as competitiion it's 2 seperate things.

Gone but not Forgotten!
