I think probably, if you really want to win, you will find a city that is unoccupied - something not very fashionable so that you don't get targeted until you have been able to build up your empire. Places like New York are probably going to be rather competitive - but we shall see

I did that with my wife's account. I bought a long stretch of the I-78 ($1m a piece) and

built several large buildings there - the rent alone is $1m/day. The highway is so long,

I can literally build thousands of buildings there. At $1m/day/building, we'll see how

far the geometric progression will take me before others start sabotaging my efforts

Maybe because most players have already bought their streets and properties,

and now there isn't a whole lot for them to do but wait?

Could be, but every day they can buy more streets and or more properties with their income - at least that is I presume the theory. Not sure how you get more chance cards or anything like that though. There really isn't that much to do though, that's true.

My income is only $3-4m right now - but growing exponentially, as I keep building new properties.

At this rate, it'll be $300-400m/day in no time!

I don't think you can - you just get them by random chance. I think the more you buy and build,

the more likely you are to get one. For example, your chances increase if you buy ten $100k streets

vs one $1m street.

Yeah, I lost one too. The "bulldozer" card is not easy to use because it makes you

"choose an opponent" first, plus you have to use or discard it right away. It would

be nice if you could put it away and use later. For demolition, I usually pick opponents

with lots of hazard buildings that they would probably want to demolish first before

deciding to retaliate and demolish one of mine.
