What are the best options on airfare to Cebu from the USA? I need to fly from the midwest. Any ideas? Thanks.

My husband had a good flight experience with Cathay. The stopover is only in Hong Kong.

I am flying to Phils. this coming Sept. 5 and when i check the airfare from Florida to Cebu ( rountrip) it cost me $ 1700 so I tried to change my itinerary from Florida to Manila and it cost me only $ 936. so i just let my sister book me a flight from manila to cebu and it cost only 1,500 pesos so I save a lot .

I used www.expedia.com

I've flown Korean Air twice. Online they will give you a price like that......$1700-1800. Through my travel agent I can get it for $1100-1200. Worth the extra over flying into Manila for me and losing a day each way.

Thanks everyone. I did try asap.com and found a round trip ticket for $1215. Nothing else was even close.

Try checking www.vayama.com and check the airfares on Wednesday..

Hubby always find cheaper tickets those times.

I agree with lykatodd's idea about buying tickets from US-Manila.

Then let your fiancee book you a round trip flight from Manila-Cebu thru Cebu Pacific.

It's cheaper and you could save some bucks.

Good Luck and have a safe trip!

Northwest often has had sub $900 RT routing Portland to Manila via 2 hour Narita (Tokyo) layover. Long travel day and arrives Manila late pm, too late for domestic connections. Tuesday-Thursday are cheapest. Yesterday's online NW price was as low as $734 late September. China Air and Asiana have shown cheap flights westcoast direct to Manila also but nothing PDX so it doesn't work out. Enjoy.
