Hey guys...I called yesterday and spoke to an immigration officer. She told me that my case is being reviewed and I should hear something soon....I just checked and I got a touch today .....I dont wanna get my hopes up but I hope I will get my NOA2 soon ....just pray fi mi....will be back lata to catch up!!

Haymsmorgan, while a touch isn't always a cause for celebration, it indicates that your file is on the move! After almost 6 months of no touches or anything, I was SUPER excited to get one! I knew that my probably-lost file had been found. I didn't get NOA2 until ~2 weeks later. Most people get it a couple of days afterward, though.

UPDATE

Steven called. He's okay. Based on my direction a couple of days ago that we need to talk less (which has given me much more tv/internet time, and is saving $$) he was waiting for me to initiate a call. However, his new cheap phone wasn't registering my calls. Eventually, he was like "She STILL hasn't called!" and took the battery out & put it back in. That's when the missed calls/voicemail showed up. I let him know I wasn't pleased, but since my mother was here and I'm not one to air my laundry around other people, I kept my calm & just let him know how worried I was.

This is possibly my last weekend living alone, so I plan to spend a lot of time by myself. I can watch every episode of Paradise Hotel on Hulu.com and just relax.

WoHoo Nat WOW are you getting excited, nervous??? I remember that feeling, I was a nervous wreck even though everybody was like dont worry everything gonna be ok(which it will) ai was still worried.

One tip that I wanted to share my fellow VJ parents that I learned when my son had mobile therapy was when you punish them, don't tell them how long you are going to punish them for. And threaten if they keep asking you are going to make the punishment longer. See before I implemented this rule and gave him a punishment date/time, he would just ride it out and go back to the negative behavior. Not giving him a date, he wasn't sure how long his torture would be and it calmed him down from the negative behaviors... Just some friendly advice!

mstee... I'm so vex wid im rite now!!!! He gets off at 4:30 from work and I get off at 5. When I got here he wasn't home, so I was like.. ok, maybe he getting in a likkle OT. I warmed up his dinner so I could ave ie ready... closer to 6 and no call or nothing. He called at 6:17pm to say he was hangin out w/ some co-worker and if I wanted directions to where he was at. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! Why didn't he just call after he got off work?????

Me too!! Shhoooot... I been taking LOTS of notes!! I am not a full-fledged mom yet, so I hope I'll do a good job when I am. Sounds scary though, LOL

q - i totally hear what you are saying and respect that. hubby has been my strength during the tough times with my son. he always tells me that my son is getting bigger and stronger everyday and if i don't be firm with him now, one day he is going to try and fight me when he doesn't get his way...and he is right. what really burned hubby was he watched me run around all weekend putting out my best to get my son everything for school....we even went out to a nice dinner and toasted to a successful school year and then this is what i get in return. hubby decided on the punishment for this one....even though i gave it to my son as it were coming from me....and what was funny was that he just accepted the punishment with no fuss as if it made him feel more safe and secure and loved to know i was really serious about it...

Yeah they will test you. Da tried to fight me once. Grabbed him by his neck held him up in the air and then I slammed him to the ground and stepped on him. He hasn’t tried again but like you said he is getting bigger and I'm hoping he won't try me again and he has learned but if he starts smelling himself I guess he will. This time I'm sure I wont be able to lift him so I plan on picking up something and bashing him in the head with it and I anent even lying.

I feel you I ran around all day and I mean all day on Wed to pull this school ish off just to see my son pout about some shoes I didn’t get. I was like are you for real? I was two seconds away from making him wear his socks and boxers to school.

Now come on Q u know my dad first hand and I HATED taking the garbage out so yes girl one day when I came home from school I noticed my covers looked higher on my bed than normal. When I pulled the covers back there was the garbage. He tied it in the bag so it wasn’t all over my bed but yes it was in my FREAKING bed. I left it there too I slept on the floor my mom ended up removing it. See de madness mi parents caused but yet dey sey mi too hard pon mi pickney. Cha!!!!
