Hello people.

Basically, my fiance is here (K1) but right as we got married I lost my job (long story that gets me angry I wont go there)

Anyway, I immediately got what jobs I could, and started working hard. I am working jobs I am overqualified for but due to her adjustment of status situation I cant get quality work any faster then I am, so I filled the time with BS jobs to meet income requirement.

I am supporting just myself and my wife.

I have multiple jobs...

My affidavit of support will have to show multiple job letters

One job will say 32 hours a week and 15392 a year

The other job letter will say at least 3432/year

18824 total is scratching by but it is adequate for the AOS correct?

I have 2 other side jobs but they pay under the table and will probably not cooperate but I will try and if they cooperate it should be at least another 3000 I am working on that so I am not right on the line.

2) I can get a co-sponsor that makes more then enough to sign if I need to, my question is if they review my file and have an issue with this will they give me a chance to respond or anything or will they just simply deport my wife right away???

Anyway, these are my main issues. I will go work at McDonalds every Sunday or some sh** if it makes the department of state happy.

3) I subleased my apartment cuz I lost my former job. We are kind of in transition now, and planning to move again soon. It is my understanding this really doesnt matter since my wife is my expense and no one else is supporting her? Does that make sense? if I stay with a friend for a couple of months does it really matter? I have an apartment in my name as well...etc.. just wondering if this is a problem. Seems normal in my situation we are going to move to a different state soon for work so I dont want to sign another lease...

Anyway I hope that is coherent can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Thank you!

Hello Trouble.

Multiple jobs are ok. Your income is border line as you know. Your side jobs are understandable but illegal in terms of taxation as you know. If you use that as income you need to file the tax docs. If you dont it wouldnt be a good idea to report it as income.

If there is any problem with your co- sponsor they will send an RFE. They would submit the same info as you do & should be careful to avoid the RFE.

There is no reason to think your wife would be deported under most circumstances.

Moving to find a more stable enviroment to live in should be a positive improvment. I did the same thing & it had no negitive effect on my case. We we not asked about the move.

Thanks Ning.

I intend to list the other side jobs as it would put the income at more like 23-24,000. I would file the taxes. Im not sure I can get the employers to admit I am employed there is the problem, but I am trying.

I am still confused about one thing, if they do not like my situation financially will they respond by requesting a co-sponsor or telling me I have a problem? Or does ICE just come to the door?
