I-130 Approved, now what?

I got an approval letter for the I-130 on 8/6/09. it states that "We have sent the original visa petition to the Dept of State National Visa Center (NVC), 32 Rochester Ave, Portsmouth, NH"

What do i do now? Do i have to wait for something or can i start filing some forms like the I-485 and my I-765 etc?

If I rememebr correctly, you will recieve mail from the NVC, they will send out an bill for the I130 you can pay that online or by snail mail. then I beleive you can start the papers for the proff of income... I think it's the I864 .. don't worry the NVC dosen't take as long as the USICS to respond.. Bless & Respect

great thanks. i did some search on this forum and a few cases recieved a response from NVC within 2 wks of getting the I-130 approval letter.

I am very confused, I look at your timeline in your signature and it shows EAD dates but you talk about just having a approved I-130, you have posted this in the AOS forum and you talk about now filing for AOS. Your profile says you have applied for N/A.

So please give us your correct status so we can give you the correct advice. If you are in the US and are going to be doing AOS then all the info about the NVC is not what you need.

Please give us more details of your current status.
