Previous expired passports....on Interview date USLEC

To anyone that has been through the Manila Embassy Interview already.....

have you been asked for previous expired lost/stolen passports?

From Embassy web site;

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

1. PASSPORT – Signed passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of intended departure from the United States. The passport must be in good condition, i.e., photo lamination is undamaged, and all passport pages are intact.

Applicants must also present all previously issued passports or notarized affidavits of loss, if applicable.

Just asking because we only have Photocopy of old expired passport and the Last one was stolen....only have current new one !!!!

The prescreener asked for my old passport due to several travel i have listed on my DS form. She wants to see my previous passport to validate all my travels.

You said it yourself, you need the notarized affidavit that the old passport was lost.

you should've had a copy of this when you applied for the new passport.

Thanks for both answer....I check with Fiance..

Because I know for sure she only have Photocopy expired one....with travels mentioned in the DS form, hopefully they accept it.

Hopefully she still have copy of "notarized something" for the stolen one....I think she had to have that before the released newest passport, but that is RP...
