Ok so i receieved a letter from the ombudsman back on June 2 stating that my case was being transferred to my local field office. Does anybody know how it normally takes to hear back from USCIS about a possible interview or RFE? Tommorrow will make it a month and I'm getting really antsy!!

And also does anybody have any interview experience's at the Norfolk,VA office??

If your case has been transferred to a local office, now you have to wait for an interview letter.

In my case it took 6+ months from my response for an RFE till getting an interview letter from my local office. But I don't know when exactly my case was transferred to the local office.

Ok see i never recieved a RFE notice... i just got a letter from the ombudsman stating that my case had been transferred to my local office. Now do they really send RFE notices from the local offices?? i though these notices only came from the service centers???

You'll be interviewed as I told you earlier == 100 percent. Get your file together and prepare your spouse.

Case transferred to local office + more than one year = Interview with an approval. (Denials are very rare)
