I received a CRIS email saying "GC card production ordered" on Wednesday and will hopefully receive my 2-yrs GC soon

My question now is, I know that I'll have to file for Removal of Conditions 90 days before the 2nd anniversary of my permanent resident status, but what exactly do I have to collect for that petition? I assume that we will have an interview then since we didn't have one now, so I'd like to know what I should put aside within the next 21 month.

Not everyone that didn't have an interview for their initial AOS gets interviewed for the Lifting Condition - apparently there's no magic formula.

For evidence - you'll want things like:

  • Joint Mortgage/Lease
  • Joint Bank Account(s)
  • Joint Expenses
  • Health/Auto Insurance
  • etc...

Things that show co-mingling of money - that show you live together in a bonifide relationship..

Many examples in the Guide..
