It's been two weeks since I submitted my additional document to the USEM Immigrant Visa Unit, but still I didn't receive my visa yet. How long will I be waiting??? I'm stressed out and exhausted already thinking what's really going on... My husband will going to call USEM again tomorrow. I just hope and pray that this time they will answer my husband that my visa is ready to send. *crossing fingers* pray...pray...pray...pray... and pray... So help me GOD!!! :help:

We have been waiting 5 weeks now for any information from the embassy since last request additional info had been submitted. I have called 20+ times to embassy from USA and I can never talk to a "live" person. Each time I call, the messages says the person is on the phone and to try my call again later. We are getting so frustrated. It would be nice if someone could just tell us why the delay!

Why don't you let her call instead? It's only the embassy who can answer you why but as far i've known it may take 2 weeks to 2 months. Keep praying, you'll have it soon.

Hello..

I haven't been on VJ in some time.. but some of the old timers might remember our situation and waiting on the USEM..

How long is the complete process taking now from the i-129f to visa in hand?

Zandy was telling me that one of her filipina friends was telling her that you have to visit twice before filing.. I'm not sure if I want to believe that.. So I'll just ask.

All I can say is be patient and the visa will show up before you know it
