I wondered if someone could shed some light for me!?!?!?! My Husband is a US citizen. I meet him on my travels 3yrs ago and kept in constant contact with him making many visits to the USA. Last year he came down on orders to be deployed to Iraq in Oct 08. In April 08 he asked me to marry him and obviosly i said yes. We decided that we would get married before he got deployed and so we were married July 12th 08 in Florida. We agreed that I would stay in the UK until his return in Oct 09. Time has flown passed and Im worried that we haven't yet started a process?!?!?! Can anyone help me??? Can we start the process with both of us out of the country??? what happens in Oct when I want to move out there?? is this possible????

I do hope someone can help as I just want to be with my husband as long as I can before he gets deployed again for Afghanistan Oct 10!!!!

I look forward for any help!!

Many Thanks

There is a military helpline at USCIS for military people and their family.

I thought you already can file papers even when your husband is deployed but i am not sure how that can go, just check USCIS:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...0004718190aRCRD

You can just visit your husband in October but the longest that you can stay there is 90 days without a visa. and you can stay in the USA for 180 days a year. If you stay 90 days in the USA that means after that you stay 90 days in the UK before you can go 90 days again, or thats told to me when i got my information about that.

Maybe but i am not sure, you can get an expedite at USCIS and NVC because your husband is deployed and in the military.

the number of the military helpline is: 1-877-CIS-4MIL (1-877-247-4645).

Hope this help you a little bit.

Take care!
