My Fiancee has a work visa in the counrty where she resides. The company that is sponoring her for that visa is closing, requiring her to get a new work visa. We 'should' get our approval soon and will be able to get everything done in just a few months. How will this effect our petition?

Not really at all as far as approval. If your K-1 is not processed quickly and she has to return to her home country, you may need to notify NVC to redirect your petition there for the interview. There is an official form for that...forgot the number of it offhand. The notice you receive from NVC will give directions on how to request a different consulate.

Thanks for the reply! She is working on getting another one to stay legal in the country where she is. She doesnt have to go back to her country but I want her to make sure she stays legal and she will. I just hope it doesnt add to our timeline.
