I'm going through the process to get a K1 with my fiance from china and put together my I-129F packet (this website was an incredible aid) and wanted to know what everyone here thought about my evidence.

We met on Saipan and she has a driver license from there issued on June 4, 08 and I have one for me from July 23, 08 so I photocopied those plus printed my flight itinerary from when I left (no boarding pass) 2 pictures of us together and a photocopy of her passport page with the departure stamp from Saipan. I could get a notarized affidavit from a friend on saipan.

I also have a stamped customs form from when I sent a package to her in china and a call log from skype (i'm a little worried about this since it doesnt have my name on it, its just list of phone calls with the duration date time and price.)

I also wanted verify here that Guanzhou is the only embassy she can apply for the visa at.

Any information you can give me would be appreciated.

in China, the Guangzhou consulate is the only consulate that processes this type of VISA.

for initial filing you will need the following evidence to prove that you have met your girl within 2 years.

1. Boarding passes

2. VISA entry/departure stamps

3. a few pictures

4. hotel receipts

USCIS only cares that you two have met within 2 years, any other evidence you decide to add is extra and the term for that is front loading...

itinerary doesn't really count because it can't prove that you actually boarded the plane...

and regarding her address, you'll need an address where she will be able to receive mail, because later down the line the consulate will mail her packets with forms that needs to be filled out and brought to the interview. so have her ask a cousin, friend, and or work address.....

For additional evidence you don't have to worry about it now, just gather enough proof for USCIS and start the process...

then you can start gathering additional evidence for example:

Email more

chat more

call each other more

send some more snail mail to each other

these evidence will prove that you two have a bonafide relationship....

also to get more information, there is a website similar to Visajourney, but it's dedicated for China.

So guangzhou is the only consulate she can do the interview at?

I don't have boarding passes or a passport stamp because I took a private plane there and Saipan doesn't require a visa or anything to go to if you are a US citizen. What I'm curious about is whether or not the drivers licenses are enough to establish that we were there at the same time.

Her address in china can receive mail but where we were living on Saipan there are no street numbers.
