Comfy pag may privacy.

about sa pagkarga, ako rin naiinis pag nakikita kung paano sila magkarga ng baby dito...kasi every morning i always watch 2 channels na about giving birth...the other channel is maganda kasi they really show the cs delivery and normal delivery...yung paghiwa sa tyan medyo nakakatakot tingnan kaso nakakatuwa rin. sa pinas kasi sobrang maingat talaga when it comes to baby lalo na pag infant...dito parang kumakarga lang ng aso hehehehe.

Believe me...ganun din sa atin. Babies seem to be very fragile, like mababali buto nila, but it isn't so. unlike adults, their joints aren't really fused yet, very flexible, lalo pag bagong panganak. Baby gets turned over, too, supported by just a hand when the doc examines the spine. As long as they are supported well, they'll be ok. I had a nephew whom I had taken care of while still a baby long before I had Alec, so that when Alec came I was quite confident in handling her.

Ting, July 11 ko pinanganak si Jil. turning 3 months sya sa 11. may control na sya sa head nya tas gusto nya lagi nakasit straight. ayaw nyang naka lay back sa body ko pag kalong ko sya so we decided na bilhan na lang sya ng bumbo seat. that will help her.

Gracey, our closing date will be on the 14th. we are moving our stuff little by little na. Lapit lang kasi yung house sa work ng asawa ko. so every pasok nya pinupuno nya yung car tas unload nya after work. tipid sa gas pagdating ng lipatan. we used VA pala. wala kasing pangdown. tas yung sa closing closts sagot ng seller yung halos kabuuan nun ($4k).

about the bumbo seat, alam ko sa target meron din sila. sa ngaun walang plan na sundan si Jil. kung ako tatanungin, tama na ung 1. pero malay natin masundan. nagtabi lang ako ng konting damit baka sakali. right now sa country kami. ung house na nakuha namin sa mismong town. lapit sa park at school, malalakad. tas 2 blocks away sa office ni hubby.

btw, almost 10pm na ng ihatid dito si Jil kanina. kakatulog lang nya. midnight na. late kung matulog sya sa gabi. si hubby tulog na din. archery season will start tomorrow. eh passion nya, maghunt. nag-leave sya sa work for that.

We put an offer in about a week ago that was accepted --- seller will pay closing costs plus a year's home warranty --- then had an inspector go thru the house to make sure all is ok. (you did do this, too, i hope) Only major problem found was the electrical and we sent the inspector's report over to the owner thru his realtor along with a note asking them to cover the expenses of upgrading the electricals. Still waiting for word from them. Ryan used his VA for this house and is still paying it off so that we are using an FHA with the new one. Actually we can use the VA again even with a current one but the home has to be worth $140T or higher, which entails a monthly mortgage of over $1T...and which we have absolutely NO intention of doing (well, not right now; perhaps when I am done with my training :) ). We've found a buyer for this house but we are investigating the rent-to-own (with loan assumption) as well. With a rent-to-own kasi, hubby'credit won't take a hit (plus, we don't need to worry about paying the realtor :D ) This house is being sold as a short sale so that it is less than what is was obtained on a loan, and will take some toll on our credit. So, hopefully all goes as we had planned...just as everything has so far :innocent: Also, sana payagan kami maglipat habang papalapit yung closing time para makapag repaint (color in the kids' rooms just isn't...childlike) and change the kitchen flooring (current flooring is carpet which I find odd in a kitchen).

We live in the suburbs right now and alec's school is a 30-min drive. the new house in more into the suburbs...a lot more suburban ( there is a cornfield a block away) but is a nice, quiet community that is still developing (a lot of housing going up and sells quite quick). There is a park that we can walk to and a lot more kids around. The drive to the school will only be 10 mins. And no "boomboxes-on-wheels",t oo! Nice clean air for the kids to breathe in. Our dream location, so to speak.

Pareho pala halos hubbies natin. Mine spent a lot of time going fishing with his grandad and hunting with his late father...he inherited all of the firearms, two of which are with him in this house (away from prying hands, of course). Sya na ang magpapalit ng flooring kung sakali...mahal kasi ang labor if we hire somebody to do it.

Mmm...i found some "turon" at the int'l market...cooked some for a nice snack on this cold afternoon. And I got some fruit salad in the ref, too!

Bmtrrbt di pa ako nanganak...I feel like masyado pang maaga. Ganito talaga siguro :)

Congratulations don sa mga lilipat...that is very exciting kaso lang kakapagod mag impake hehhe. Last year ganyan din kami.

I agree with you mas maganda talaga yong medyo malayo sa mga in-laws kahit anong bait pa nila. Ako naman I have nothing against my mother in law kasi super bait nya sakin...tuwang -tuwa nga ako pag nandito yan kasi shopping kaming dalawa to the max :D Sila ng anak nya ang di magkasundo. Hubby is only child kasi, MIL is still treating him like a baby eh ayaw na ayaw nya ng ganun kaya lagi sila nagbabangayan..but after a few minutes friends na rin naman sila ulit hehehhehe.

Halos naka impake na rin pala ako...i can't still believe na malapit na talaga. So far I feel good pa naman maliban na lang sa manas and siatice nerve pain.

Riza-regards sa little angel mo. Musta na pala yong GC application mo?

To all mommies here..

Regards,

Evelyn

Hi Gracey. We went to our new house to do some cleaning. Tomorrow we'll do the drywall and aftter painting naman. Palitan namin ung kulay. We went all through those process also, from inspection, appraisal, etc. Now waiting for the closing date which will be on the 14th. Konti lang na-shell out naming money. Bale ung downpayment na 1k then ung mortgage loan application fee which is $415. we can't afford a $1k mortgage esp now na si hubby na lang nagwowork. tas may baby pa. mura lang yung house na nakuha namin. not bad for a starter home.

Kami lang din ang nag-aayos sa house. can't afford to hire someone to do that for us. buti nga lang may tax credit for first time homebuyers eh. kahit pano may mari-refund next year.

ano-anu gamit ang dapat dalhin sa hospital during your delivery??????

I think there are about 6 or 7 of us who are due to deliver in the wintertime (anybody, feel free to correct me). Most of the clothes I got for Baby's first 3 months (am due anytime bet Dec 21-28) are mostly long-sleeved onesies, sleeper outfits, sweaters, baby bunting for when I have to take her outside, fleece and terry-cloth outfits. Also got her several socks, hats (thick/knit ones for colder weather), an infant snow suit (with reversible sleeve ends to keep her hands warm) and a car seat cover. Also have fleece and flannel blankets for use in the wintertime, along with some swaddlers that my mother-in-law sent.

What to bring to hospital...have not really thought about that yet, but at least 2-3 outfits (one is a going-home one) for baby, a change of clothing for myself plus some socks to keep my feet warm, a receiving blanket, a few diapers. Of course, you have to have a car seat already to take baby home. Am a repeat CS so I know jsut about how long i'm going to be at the hospital.

Hay naku...before Alec, there was my now-an-adult nephew/godson who can't believe that he pooped in his pants when he was about 2 years old. I'd spend some days at their house caring for him when he was a baby while his parents went to fix their Canadian visas (they did not trust the yaya). And then there was my 15-year-old niece/goddaugher at whose birth I was present (I was an intern rotating in the Pedia ER) and whom I had access to at the nursery. Not to mention all those babies who were born while was rotating in the hospital nursery...hay, nakakagigil silang lahat...and the babies I've delivered. So, I've had some training before Alec was born :)
