I was wondering if anybody knows the answer to this. My Fiancee's cousin told us

for her Medical and interview they mailed her the appoiontment dates. She didn't have

to call them to shcedule it. Has anybody else had this experience ??

She said they got the letter from the Embassy telling them the date and times to be there.

whether the embassy mails a letter depends on what type of visa you are getting. for a CR/IR visa, NVC schedules the interview. For the K type visas the beneficiary will do it once the case is complete at the embassy (all Paperwork submitted) and the Medical is finished. There is no need to schedule the medical it is a walk in process, if you don't have the interview letter you can just use the NOA-2 instead. Just remember not to do the medical too early because the results are only good for 4 months. After you have all paperwork submitted to the Embassy you should get a letter (email) instructing you what is next for a K visa type.

You can go before the schedule date for your MED Exam. My wife just flew to Manila from Cebu 2 weks prior to her Visa Interview, go any weekdays not FRI cause its 2 days exams. Ingat! Make sure you have your NOA2 or Interview Letter, ID Card and passport and Php 10,500 thats how much she paid.

Hello!

Usually the medical exam takes 2 days. The physician assigned to you will assist you on how many vaccines you will be receiving. You will undergo first for immunization interview so that they will know if you have any vaccination records or if you undergo any vaccination before your medical exam. From there... you will be advised by the doctor which vaccine/s you will be receiving. You will receive the vaccine on the second day of you medical exam.

Goodluck and Godbless!
