2009 Santo Domingo interview date

Hi everyone, I am, just like the rest of you, just as frustrated. I do not know why I can google everything else but a RECENT post regarding the time it is taking to get an interview date after the NVC has done it's final review of all my original documents. I ONLY get threads from 2005, 2006, etc. BUT NO 2009! My case is in Vermont. I have a job that only allows me so many days for vacation and I do not want to extend myself if the interview will be in two or three months. I can probably handle that. For those of you out there who may be wondering, my priority date is September 11, 2008. I do not even bother looking at all the countries with their processing times because EVERYONE says that Santo Domingo is ONE of the longest wait periods. So, please, if anyone out there has just finished interviewing at SDO w/Vermont being there office, please give me a round about date frame so I can make a more informed decision. Thank you all and I pray that God continues to ease your loneliness until you and the one that HE sent for you are together.

Until then...Waiting....like the rest of us....

One more thing. WHEN we do have the opportunity to interview...what are the chances of us having a visa in our hand and being able to fly out of DR TOGETHER. Mind you, I would only be able to stay for like 5 days. I would try to arrive the day before the interview. Or will he receive the visa and be able to come to the states several more weeks after. If anyone else can answer this, please feel free to write back. Thank you again. CP
