Hi Everyone! I have several questions here. hmmm...We are still waiting for NOA2 but am trying to complete all the requirements. So i was trying to asnwer sample forms.

Here are some questions:

There is a part in DS 230 asking about places I lived at least 6 months. I just want to ask everyone just to make sure I am doing it right. I am (they said i can go back anytime) employed in a Saudi (im currently on vacation since October 08 because my fiancee doesnt want me to go back anymore). Anyway, my employer is based in Riyadh. I stayed in Saudi from December 15,2007 to May 28, 2008, then we flew to London and stayed there for 1 month, then flew again to Germany, then Flew to Spain and stayed there for almost 1 month and we had a sidetrip to MOrocco for just 4 days.( I worked as a private duty nurse for a royalty so i have to be with her everywhere she goes) We went back to Saudi the first week of September 2008 till October 15, 2008. I took my Philippine Vacation in October. I am wondering if I still need to write Saudi as a country where I stayed for over 6 months? though I didnt stay there for straight 6 months? Only 5 months in Saudi, then 3 months in Europe and then 2 months again in Saudi..

And on the DS 230 form, it asked about the Employer...I can write there dec 2007 to October 2008..but won't this make my answers on question where i stayed over 6 months inconsistent? I'm confused with what to do..I can still go back to my emplyer anytime I want. (but I'm writing on the forms as unemployed since there is a high is am not going back to my work..huhuhu..future hubby doesnt want me to..)

On form DS 157...question 14: Do you have any specialized skills or training , including firearms, explosives, nuclear, biological or chemical experience?

.....I have completed 5 years BS Chemical Engineering in a University before I took Nursing...I need to say YES? Will my explanation "Took BS Chemical Engg before I moved to NUrsing" suffice?wont it affect or raise a red flag?I'm also part time Pollution Control Officer for the government using that Engineering Degree...

My passport has various visas already and I didnt use my re-entry to Saudi so it expired.(they can fax me new visa anytime and still have plane tickets) Hope this also wont affect our application...

Another question is with regards to Packet 3. In the Philippines, can i just pick up Packet 3 from the US embassy? Are the only forms i need to submit (ASAP) are the Checklist and Part I of DS 230?Can I just fax it to USEM here in Manila? what is their fax number? How about personally submitting it?

What about the other Forms, DS 156 ds 156k (hmmm?) and ds 157?Part II of DS230? Im really going bonkers with all the forms and the lists! I have here a application k1 kit but i need to make sure I undertand everything right. Thank you for your patience in reading and giving advice!

hmmm..hehehe ..i'm still thinking about some questions, hehe Just want everything ready.

I am still reading the requirements and stuff here..so ...I'll drop by a message again later! thank you sooo very much!!!! and Good luck to all of us and GOD SPEED!!!

I can't wait to be with my sweetheart...

Very good question. In the last 5 years I had lived in Ukraine for two years, though "officially" I did not live there. My employer was US based, I had a permanent US address (rented my house to a friend) and my pay was direct deposited into my US bank. I never received a permanent residency as I was in a limited contract at the time and had received a visa from the pre-Orange Revolution Govt. of Ukraine for the particular period of the contract to work there for my US employer whom had a contract with the Government It was, in effect, a long business trip. I DID list my addess there, though the apartment was in my employers name. I mean if you work for a US company and they send you to a meeting in Gerany for a week, do you "live there"? If it is two weeks? Two months? There was no "official" change of address, much as in your case, I presume.

Sounds the same, basically for you. I would list any address you resided at for more than 6 months (consecutive, not counting brief "vacations") as that seems to be a determining amount of time for many other requirements. There is certainly nothing wrong with it, better that than get caught not giving some information. I had considered not mentioning my address there, but given I did have a visa I figured they might find out and then wonder why I didn't mention it. It really is no problem, except maybe adding an extra sheet for space. If you do that, I would suggest simply putting "see attached" on the G-325 and attaching the entire answer as a separate sheet. MAKE SURE you make FOUR copies of any attachment, the G-325 is a four part form and the attachment would need to go with each copy.
