Gurl, better to do your CFO seminar when you will have the visa already but it is up to you.

Wait until you get visa in hand as you'll only have to do CFO one time.

I-130 for Parents (Mom and Dad)

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

N400:
4.26.2013: Mailed N400 Packet

5.21.2013: Biometrics

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview

9.25.2013: Oath Ceremony

Right its better to wait your visa first before you go to CFO and I recommend ST. MARY'S for your CFO SEMINAR because they are nice and the sticker is within the building of ST. MARY'S. They will attach the sticker in your visa after the seminar and they give you a certificate. I attended my CFO seminar in the morning then at night time is my flight going to AMERICA and there is no problem. That is my experience in my CFO seminar at ST. MARY'S.

Yep, I agree! Go to St. Mary's and NOT PRISM! St. Mary's people are nice and I have been hearing bad feedback about PRISM people.

Hi! I am planning to have my CFO seminar the day after of my interview. So, what am i going to bring for the CFO seminar? Your reply is greatly appreciated...Thanks!!!

oh i suggest you wait for your visa and passport first before attending seminar or else you will go back at CFO again for the sticker you need.
