Hi all,

Another confusing area on all of the forms is my wife's status. She graduated last summer and had OPT approved for a year (F-1 visa stamp is expired). Of course with the current economic conditions she has had no luck finding a job!

I would really appreciate your help with a few Qs:

* Current Status? F-1 or OPT?

* Current Occupation and Employer ?

* Date Arrived? (She has traveled abroad on F-1 mutiple times... would this be last arrival?)

* Which I-94 # to use? Last One? and D/S for OPT as well?

* On I-765, does she put in her OPT EAD info Result as GRANTED? and is this an Application for Renewal of EAD or a New Application?

* I-131 Class of Admission: F-1 or OPT ?

Thanks for all the help as always!

status would be f-1...if she has found a job then u would put that as her employer..if none then leave it blank

for the date arrived i would go with the first one...from the original POE ...doesnt it ask for date of last entry?

if she traveled multiple times then she would only have the last i-94 so that's the one that you could use. not sure if all the i-94s have the same #

yes..that's what i did for mine since i was also f-1, i put in the previous EAD granted info

on the 765 i used new application

f-1...opt is not considered a class

good luck
