Is the date your cheque was cashed also your NOA1 date?

Many Thanks anyone who replies...and its great to be here where people are in the same boat as me....I miss him! :-(

The NOA1 date is the date on your first Notice of Action. Now that your cheque has been cashed, the petitioner will be receiving it shortly. It'll confirm that the USCIS has accepted your petition, and also give you your case number. :thumbs:

The official NOA1 date will likely be two days or so before the check was cashed. Not that it makes a bit of difference. For your purposes you can put the date the check was cashed into the VJ timeline for an estimate of adjudication date (NOA2) Close enough for "government work" as they say.
