hi guys i just wanna ask if do I need to get a vaccination shots here in U.S? Because when i was in manila the doctor advised me to get a vaccine when I got here.. In applying for adjustment of status what medical record do they need?

For 'k' visas you are not required to get additional vaccinations here in US provided that you filed your AOS within one year from your medical examinations overseas but to be safe, you can get Tetanus-Diphtheria or TDAP shots in any clinic close to you.I went to NEXTCARE clinic for those vaccines and when I filed AOS I was not even asked for it or any shots taken here in US.So I guess just file your AOS immediately.Goodluck.

When we were interviewed for my wife's AOS, they did ask whether she followed through on her vaccinations. We showed him the receipt from Kaiser showing her TD shot, and the AO accepted that as proof. Her medical was in July 2007 and our AOS interview was May 2008, so I don't think that is correct advice.

You just need to complete your vaccinations. Use the DS 3205 as your reference. Our family doctor is aware of greencard requirements, he just reviewed my DS3205 and gave me the shots that are still incomplete.

I sent my file to Dr Arnolds of Texas and a check worth $30. Along with I-693 form, I sent my DS3205 and the new vaccination sheet from our family doctor. I just received the priority mail from Dr Arnold. Would apply my AOS by next week.

Ooops! My apologies if I gave wrong advice here. I guess it's a case to case base. I brought my TD shots receipts also during my interview but the IO never mention or asked for it.

Don'd worry, you can have your vaccination at your local health office here in the US. I had mine here and it was free. God Bless...

Mine was covered by insurance. Did not pay anything.
