They may very well ask her about your previous petition for the other woman. You might want to tell your fiancee about that just to be on the safe side. Don't know if they would deny her or not if she wasn't aware of it, but wouldn't you rather tell her yourself than have her find out at the interview and be surprised or shocked in front of the CO?

As for the evidence, do you have any records of chats or phone calls, and any photos other than engagement pics, maybe pictures of the two of you with her family doing other things together? You can prove you went there, that you sent her money, and that you got engaged, but they may want to see more proof that you've communicated with each other at other times. If you haven't communicated more for religious reasons, she should be ready to explain that at the interview.

Good luck.

Tell your fiance about your old K1. Travel to be with her for the interview. You will be waiting outside but you can register your name before travell

to Morocco with the Cousulate. This is my own personal advice. They have a very nice group on Casa Consulate and being true to them will help both of you. Best of luck!

WOW, Yes, they can find out. I don't understand why your friend did NOT file for K3 visa. He is breaking The Law!

My advice for him is to get an attorney. I can not give you a legal advice. :wow:

The consulate can place you in something called Administrative Processing and do a document check. It is very simple for them to do this. There have been several cases on VJ where the embassy has indeed checked documents only for the beneficiary and or sometimes petitioner to be sandbagged when going to the interview. Honesty is always the best policy and even if your friend slipped by the embassy, his dishonesty could still be uncovered during Adjustment of Status or years later.

how will they find out?

The fact that they can find out or NOT does not make it right to break the law. Why on earth your friend wanna start

his/her life with a big lie. This is very sad to see this post here. This type of behavior what causes future applicants more

troubles that they don't need.

This is visa fraud. Have your friend cancel the petition and start again with the I-130. If not he runs the risk of being totally screwed.

Were they legally married in Morocco, or is it an Islamic marriage only? If they were legally married, they can't get a K-1. The consulate will know because they must submit a celibacy paper from the government saying the Moroccan citizen is single and free to marry. They can also do home visits and ask family and neighbors about their relationship. If they manage to get the K-1 anyway while being legally married, the immigrant can be turned away at the U.S. border or caught later and deported for visa fraud. It's not worth the risk. They should always be truthful with DOS and USCIS.

The people working at Casablanca are great. They are helpful and courteous. You should gather all the evidence you can get because it is better to have too much then not to have enough. I hope everything turns out great for you and your fiancee. Please post after the interview so we can see what happened. I wish you the best of luck.

I usually never respond to posts such as this, but I have to say all that everything I am reading about "not telling your significant others about previous filings AND marriages, and attempting to hide it from the consulate" has me in a tizzy. So please accept my apology up front if I hurt anyone's feelings with what I have to say, I am going to be blunt about it.

I have one question, which I probably know the answer to in my heart: Why would you NOT tell her about a previous filing or marriage...exactly what are you hiding by not telling her??

These issues are definitely going to come up. Don't think for one second that this government does not know about your previous filings, there is such a thing as a database accessible by computers in the department of state as well as department of homeland security that holds your information! Hiding this information from your significant other is just questionable at the very least, and will look like fraud to the consulate, especially if she is asked about it and has no freakin' idea

I see this as just one of the many reasons why this post is considered high fraud...because it is. I personally have people like this to thank for the hard time I went through to get my husband here, as well as all of those just now facing the return process, whom of which I might add happen to be ligitimate relationships.

Of course you should tell her EVERYTHING, that this is even a question and being asked on the internet like this is what I don't get, you must be up front and completely honest with the consulate as well. Anything less than this is construed as fraud regardless.

As far as being married and filing for a K1, that is just stupid...and yes, it is immigration fraud which by the way is a felony.

...I've said my peace, now back to my quiet little cubby where I like it.
