do they ask for paycheck stubs with regard to affidavit of support? is it correct that i should be filing i134?what do they usually ask?

correct, for k Visa you will need a notarized I-134. your fiance should provide recent pay check stubs, W-2(s) for 2005 and copy of 2005 Tax Return. tax transcripts are available free from IRS. they are accepted as copy of tax return. also include recent letter from his employer that varifies his employment and job status. not sure if also need tax returns from 2003 and 2004.

Analyn is on her way to her relative's house because Delbros texted her that they will deliver today, two days after her interview. I only hope she had already left her authorization form. Analyn wants to stay in Manila to see her Aunt who is going to Manila for an operation. The plan is for her to leave Monday.

Wow...only two days after your interview. Congratulations to you too. I have a flight booked on China Airlines to LAX via Taipei for end of October. I still need to fix some things in Manila before I go. Good luck to you and Analyn.

Hey, I just noticed an error in the K1 Packet. LOL! Number 1 (Proof of Payment) states, "The bank will validate your payment on the DS-156 Nonimmigrant Visa Application Form..." However, we all know that is not true. The bank validates DS-157 Supplemental Nonimmigrant Visa Application. LOL! Cheers!!! - Sheriff Uling

Sheriff, take the embassy to task and tell them to clean up their act :lol: . The visa process is already difficult as it is and they make it more complicated by giving wrong info. And whip them good .

thought i should give you all a very important heads up MAKE SURE YOU PHOTO COPY EVERYTHING WHEN YOU COME INTO THE COUNTRY CUSTOMS TAKES ALL YOUR PAPERWORK and then immigration never gets them so you have to redo all the forms again. and dont throw away anything that letter they send to the petitioner the 129 approval letter is needed for the final AOS meeting.

Good advice, Danoco. In my case fiancé was despondent because he did not keep a copy of our first petition. But being the good girl that I am :innocent: I kept photocopies of everything we submitted so that when we had to re-file and re-do the process all over again, I was able to put everything back together in one day! So keep a copy of everything. You'll never know what surprise the government has in store for you!

Let us know the developments of your AOS and the number of pretty bum-bums (a$$e$) you kicked along the way.

Yes, fill up the I-134 and have it notarized and sent to your fiancee along with your W2, pay stubs, letter of employment, etc. She will need those for her interview. For other requirements, click on the link for Packet 4 under Uling's signature.

PW - I'll wait until we are approved and my baby is here to start fighting city hall over a simple mistake that should have never occurred. Right now, I don't want to ripple the waters because things are running smoothly. This does make me think… hmmmm…. how could they make a mistake like that? Seems kinda odd to me, but I guess they get a kick out of confusing the hell out of us. LOL! It makes their day go faster. LOL! Cheers!!!

Ok now i read a post (can't find it now) about there being a plastic envelope AROUND the brown envelope and possibly another plactic envelope around that and the passport. Christ, can they make it any more confusing? I don't want my wife to open anything at all now but she will need her passport. Someone please comment!

Joel,

I had to open the second plastic cover inside the Delbros plastic, otherwise I couldn't get my passport. The sealed envelope for US immigration is slit diagonally on one side which I assume is how it should be.

The envelop with the "diagonal slit" should not be opened. Any other comment from those who got their visa already? Heavens, I hope you did not open your envelops!!! But no worries, the embassy will re-seal it if accidentally opened.
