Honestly, I don't get the whole fluster over the multiple e-mails and letters. It's just a poorly designed automated system, that's all. It's not like there's actually someone there writing out five e-mails to all of us :D

I think the whole fluster over the multiple emails and letters is that it simply highlights the inefficiency of the service centers. If they sent one email with correct and clear information and one hard copy letter to confirm, I think it would make us feel confident in their ability. But multiple emails without clear information and multiple letters shows us that they don't exactly have it together. Sure it's a small thing, but it can be confusing i.e. "your petition was received here" without saying where here is.

So bottom line, we don't like to be reminded that they are not a smooth and efficient organization - after all, they are entrusted with processing the most important paperwork of our lives.

I'm concerned. I mailed my I-129F on April 25, 2006 and have not received an e-mail.

Since the emails reflect the transfer of petitions from the Nebraska Service Center to the California Service Center on June 1, you will not be getting this email as it doesn't affect you.
