Hello, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

My fiance is interviewing in Tokyo. We have collected all the documents and sent required information to Tokyo Embassy. Within a couple days of sending the information to Tokyo, we used the on-line interview request. We received an email accepting then another email saying "We are very sorry to let you know that your case is still under review and is not ready for an interview. We have cancelled attached interview appointment. You will be contacted when ready to proceed with the further process."

Is this normal? Upon sending the information, did you wait for a response or try to request interview? Any idea how long it should take from Packet 3 submission to notification that we can schedule the interview?

Hi...you can't get an interview unless you won't receive the letter of approval or the packet 3. But don't worry because that won't wait that long. Mine was sent for only 2 weeks including weekends. My advice is for you to wait for the petition approval and immediately gather the requirements and go on line for the final interview. Don't worry Us embassy in tokyo is very effecient.

Can I confirm? We got Packet 3, we sent information in and requested interview. But they said they are not ready, they have some Administrative processing. You said yours came in two weeks, does that mean after you submitted DS156 and other documents? or two weeks to receive Packet 3?

Thanks.
