Ok another silly question that should be obvious...I fill out I-134 for support correct? But packet 4 contains I-864? Is this just for immigrant visas that need the form? or which one do they need?

You are correct. You fill out the I-134 for a K-1 visa. The I-864 is for IVs.

Does anyone know how to measure for a Thai wedding suit? My Fience is worried that I will not have time to get my wedding suit altered when I arive before our wedding. She ask me to send her my mesurements so she can have the Tailor prepair it. Can I just go to a tailor here and have them take my mesurments then convert them to metric and send that to her? I hope it is that simple but most things are not. Thanks for any help from those in the know.

Thai Tailors

There might be a sub-link on one of them for measurements that doesn't require you to put in personal information;

the one I tried did unfortunately. You might be able to find something else there to help you.

Ya, that's what I did. I had been fitted previously for tuxedo and just gave her those.

Same as any other suit. You don't even need to convert it, as most tailors are used to English. But measurements alone are rarely enough. The good tailors tack the cloth together loosely first and have you try it on.

Should be fine. The shoe sizes are totally different though.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

After calling USCIS and asking why AAm hadn't received a biometrics appt for her lifting of conditions, we have finally got the Biometrics appt in the mail...for 1/4...so...we're back on track...

1. Walk in--it's still Thailand after all...

2. Yes, we didn't get a packet from the embassy

3. Bumrungrad

4. Depends on the number of vaccinations that you need. We don't remember exactly how much. You can call Bumrungrad, though.

5. Depends on the individual.

6. Take the blank form with you which you can print from the embassy website. The hospital has blank forms but they charge for them.

Is that more expensive at BNH? I think the fiancee said she prefers that one since she had done all her paperwork for her other visa there. Also bigcasino, she said there's a "fast track" at the police station if you offer to give them some extra baht.
