From my memory of recent experiences, some people were notified that they were missing documents. However, interviews were still scheduled. In instances where folks were told specifically what was missing, they have gone ahead and prepared it for the interview.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

We were notified of a July 10 interview date after returning packet 3 on May 29, 2009. No missing documents mentioned. Already have medical stuff to bring with us.

I will arrive BKK from Los Angeles at 1 am on July 10, meet up with Puy at our hotel and we will leave for the embassy early AM, like 6:00.

Does anyone know which BTS station is closest to the embassy (Wittayu Road)???? Thanks for the help.

Very excited that this ordeal is nearly over.

Ralph

There's a knife behind that pretty smile.

The first time I went to Thailand was in 2001 to skydive. The owner of the Dollhouse was an American skydiver who moved over there. He emailed all of us a "Christmas Photo" right before our trip over there. Pretty effective advertising...

Question

When you send in all the required packet 3 information and the embassy reviews and sends you packet 4. Why do they not say at time of you submitting packet 3 docs to them that there is a problem and wait for the interview to tell you that.? Do they even look at what is sent to them in packet 3 or just go ahead and schedule the interview

auto? and say you need more documents?

There were lots of problems a few months ago with the embassy giving everyone the run around. Everything seems to have cleared up and that guy does not seem to be around. Just triple check the list they gave you. If you have any questions ask us here.

How I met my wife: I was ordering a coffee at Starbucks when I noticed her. I sat beside her and chatted her up in Thai. Her English response impressed me until I found out that she too was an English teacher. I asked her out to dinner.

Please share your mystical unions.

I met my fiancee at a nightclub while I was vacationing in Koh Samet. She was there with one of her friends for the weekend too.
