(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

FYI: June 18, 2009: 1pm.

Great news and good luck.... Please let us know what type of questions the good folks at the embassy ask, a little mini review....

I'll do my best to post an update as soon as things have settled down after the interview.

Awesome news!

I thought the vaccinations document was separate from the sealed form. I am almost 100% sure it was outside the envelope and the nurse went over the other shots and and when they were needed when she handed the sealed envelope to her.

ok, they only asked 4 questions. what is your husbands name? how did we meet? how long ago did we meet? and what does your husband do for work?

It was a white lady asking questions. After the questions the lady said "ok" and then she gave my wife a slip of paper telling her to go pick up her visa on the 5th at 3 o'clock.

If my wife had not passed because of the bald white guy i was going to have four thai guys work him over. He doesn't know how lucky he is:). Just kidding but i'm so happy and i hope Bhudda is helping all the rest of you like he did for us. Good luck to all of you waiting.
