Hi to every one, I need some help I'm planning to start the process by myself I came to this country with tourist visa 10 years ago recently I got married my husband is citizen, and I will like to know is there is a problem or not good idea to do the process with out a lawyer, my visa just expired and of course I stay more than the time that you supposted to stay. HELP ME PLEASE.... :blush::unsure:

You can handle the process yourself, if you are able to follow instructions accurately. Ordinarily, USCIS will overlook the fact that you overstayed your visa so long as you can prove a bona fide, happy marriage and that there is no evidence you got married just to stay in the US. That's how we handled it.
