Hi, I need HELP?

I filed my I-485 last year october. My husband and I went to the interview yesterday and we got approved. I mentioned to the interviewer that we are planning to travel. We are traveling Feb 6th.

I did'nt file for advance parole because i was told, you should only file for that if you have like death in the family or something serious why you need to go back to your country.

So, from reading the posts, I get the idea that it was probably possible for me to file for advanced parole.

My question is...now what? I thought that I would get a temporary stamp in my passport the day of the interview that whould allow me to travel, but she did not put a stamp...only wrote pending I-485.

Is is to late for me to file the advaced parole, I leave in 9 days!!!?!?!?!

And what happens if I leave,

first of all will I be able to get ons a plane and leave?

if so, how would i get back?

Please help?!

Moving this to AOS forum.

Did the interviewing officer stamp your passport with an I-551 stamp?? This stamp makes passport into a temp green-card, and allows re-entry from trips abroad.

If still pending approval, schedule an info-pass appointment and perhaps get an emergency AP doc, or if approved by then the I-551 stamp.
