Does anyone know if I can get my UK pension (government) paid to me here in the US. I have been contacted to make up the 3 years that I am missing to have the 30yrs needed and I am wondering if it is worth catching up.

Yes it is payable here in the USA, it would be worth paying what you are missing in contributions so that you can get the pension you have paid into.

I believe it is also possible if you have more than 10 credits in the US Social Security system to transfer some or all of your UK pension entitlement to the USA to make that one up to the full amount.

Haven't looked at the details as it isn't something I can do, but it might be worth researching before you decide on topping up the UK one.
