Well, it's almost the big day. We're looking to file within the week for my AoS. My husband called his head office today and asked for the employer letter required for the affidavit (the one regarding how long he's been employed and his standing), and the company manager sent along a faxed letter. Is this okay, or does it have to be an original? We were hoping to file on Wednesday, get it all out of the way, and it might take up to a week for an actual letter to arrive. Please advise? Thanks guys. :)

Hey LDora well my wife and I didnt send an employer letter, all we sent was my wifes 2007 income tax return, w2s, and a copy of her paystubs for 6 months to prove she can support me, I am just sharing what we did, but I would think a fax letter would work along with other supporting info such as your husbands last year tax return, w2s, 6 month paystubs and I assume he is over the 125% income requirement, if he is not, you guys have to get a co-sponser who makes over 125% over the income requirement, that info can be found on the USCIS website. We sent that info and we were fine as our timeline shows. You definately are going to be doing a whole lot of waiting and you have to have a whole lot of patiences. Good luck to you on your process and hope you get it out there this Wednesday.

Yay! Thanks for the tips, guys. Fingers and toes crossed. I should have my results back from the doctor in a day or so, and then it's out of our hands while we sit and wait.
