sending in info

I know this has been covered before… but I can’t find it. When we sent in our original packet I just organized the papers with tabs but it was loose. We got an RFE and I was wondering if it would be better to send all the paperwork in a binder of some sort this time? We’re looking at about 100+ pages (all original info plus new info).

No binders. Use ACCO fasteners on the top if need be.

Hi Merp,

Personally, I don't think that it's a good idea to send any paperwork loose, as it will become disorganized and lost this way, and cause more problems....(as you probably know from experience here)

When I sent in my original I-751 application (of 100+ pages, which costs $5.45 via USPS priority mail), I sent it in like they suggested, in an ACCO folder (a paper file folder with a two-hole metal fastener thingy on the top). You can get those at any office-supply store (staples, business depot, office depot, etc.). As well, they are lightweight, good at organizing paperwork, and inexpensive to buy too.

Thanks AntandD, I knew there was a folder I was supposed to use, I will pick one of them up tomorrow i don't want to all these pages lost again!!
