I am working in the US on an H1B visa. I also got married to an American citizen nearly a year ago. We filed for AOS with the understanding that since I have a job myself that I could use my income for the I-864 (without a joint sponsor). No questions have been raised about my income being used; I received my employment authorization a couple of months ago, and the Green card interview has been scheduled in January. As such we are assuming the Green card interview should go smoothly , i.e. me using my salary as the sole source of income on the I-864 will not be an issue. Your thoughts on this would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
