Hi Everyone,

Im in the process of filling out forms for AOS (sigh :whistle: ) My questions are...

1- I have printed off instructions for civil surgeon examinations and also the form but am i right in thinking that he/she only needs to fill out section 5 Vaccinations as my medical from London when filing for k1 still is valid? So do i tell him just to ignore everything else?

Do i now need a skin test which i believe theyve just bought in?

2-My fiances mum initially sponserd me which she put for 3 years but after we're married my fiance will be making enough money to sponser me himself so can i change the sponser or does this make things complicated?

3-i will be doing the medical before we're married but sending off the whole package after we are.On the medical form, what last name should i put?

Thanks :star::star::wacko:

1) Yes only the vaccinations part is done by US Civil Surgeon.

It is up to the C.S. to determine what is needed.

2) Co-sponsor for K-Visa does not need to be Joint sponsor for adjustment of status, however if you do need a joint sponsor for AOS, the Joint sponsor has NO-Choice in how long they provide sponsorship.

Sponsorship ends when one of the following 5 conditions are meet:

  • Immigrant dies
  • Sponsor dies
  • Immigrant leaves the country and gives up resident status.
  • Immigrant works and is credited with 40 quarters of work (10 years)
  • Immigrant naturalizes and becomes a US Citizen.

3) Maiden name.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
