I called the visa center just a minute ago and found out our interview is scheduled for 1-16-09 ! I was told our letters were mailed out this week so I'm expecting that in the mail anyday now. I just need to figure out how to schedule the medical before the interview - we can't afford 2 trips. :(

Does anyone know how close the medical office is to the embassy? I don't know a thing about MTL. If it's too far- I'm thinking my family will have to stay close to the med office and then relocate closer to the embassy. I could sure use some advice - anyone else had both the med and interview scheduled in the same week ?

Good luck everyone- I hope you all hear some good news soon too !

Congrats on the interview date!

My advice would be to book a hotel close to the consulate and just take a cab over to the medical. Just give yourself LOTS of time the traffic is Montreal is horrendous! Also, you should probably ask the medical people how long it will take to get your results. You may have to arrive in Montreal 3-4 days early to get the results in time.

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

NOA1 - 8/16/11

Biometrics - 9/14/11

This is the link you can find where you should go for medical exam:

Mine is scheduled on 1-27-08. Assume I already receive instruction package from the consulate, Can I go for medical exam a month before the interview date?
