I-864 based on 2007 tax info?

Hello VJ world-

We're currently filling out our I-864 forms. Our question concerns the joint sponsor's form (her Father). He has recently re-married (this year) and his son has recently moved out of the house. Our questions are:

Does his household size include his new wife?

Does he household size exlude his son?

Based on the 2007 tax return his son is listed as a dependent and he had no spouse. Does the household size question refer to the number of dependents/spouses in the most recent tax year, or is it considered on one's current situation?
