I called the GGD and they can do it for me.. But I do not want to spend money on something when its not neccasarry. This process already costs a lot.. And we don't have much. Is there something I can call. To know for sure?

I don't know who to call, eventually you will get package 4 from the NVC with the medical check documents. It's upto the doctor which once to give (it's a very long list, but not all neccessary when you are living in the Netherlands). I can look on my vaccination passport when I get home which short they have me......or maybe if you call the doctors office they might tell you.

Thanks a bunch guys!! ^^

Love is patient and kind;

it is not jealous or conceited or proud;

love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable;

love does not keep a record of wrongs;

love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.

Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.

Love is eternal.

You can also contact your own family doctor, that's what I did. They should have a list of the requirements as well, you can have them done there. They give you a prescription for the vaccinations, you go and pick them up at your local pharmacy, and you make a return appointment to have the shots administered (but make sure your doctor marks them on your vaccination record). This way, most of it should be covered by your insurance, since your own doctor prescribed them.

Yeah that'd be good but then I need to know which vaccinations I need. Because I've asked my doctor once before and they didn't know anything about it.... I'll give dr Schulte a call ^^

Here's a copy of my vaccination report, it shows all the vaccinations they check for. You can ask your own doctor which ones would be appropriate for your age and situation. As you can see I had to get my DKTP done again, since it was more than 10 years ago. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2487/373301...dc3e62204_o.jpg

Don't mind me, I am slightly going crazy :dead:

Monday is our interview, Jack is arriving monday morning at Schiphol, next weekend I have a house full of guests.

Today I came home from work and my livingroom, kitchen and diningroom are flooded.

Carpets are soaking wet, kitchen cabinets are goners.

Had a cleaning company come in, they soaked up most water, have two blowers in the house now to try to get it dry, will take a few days.

The counter, cabinets and stuff needs to be replaced, I have been cleaning and drying for a few hours now.

It is sewer water :crying:

It stinks....

Sigh, just what I needed.

But, on the other hand, Jacks stepson and his wife had a healthy little baby girl last night :wub:

Hi all!

Sorry to hear about the flooded house! But glad to hear the good news here too.

I have to share...although I think the fine folks here at VJ are the only ones who can truely appreciate this! LOL. I sent off my Affidavit of Support to my fiance, as part of his packet 3 from the consulate. He GOT IT TODAY!! Which means, he will be sending the checklist back to the consulate tomorrow...WHICH MEANS (hopefully) they can get us on schedule for an interview! WOOOOT. I told a friend about this...and she said, "So he got your paperwork, and he is mailing it tomorrow. Huh...um...good?" LOL.

It is kinda funny how these little, tiny steps can bring such a big smile to my face.

:D that was a happy monday!!!

I'll update later, but for now, we are approved!!!!

We are getting our visa's, it went great, easy, smooth, everyone was helpful and really nice.

Somehow we seem to be unique and our visa's have to be switched from one place to another.

But hey, we will be getting them.

For now good night and we'll talk soon, now, Jack is here and I don't want to waste time behind the pc :P
