First the doctor, than the x-ray.

I called them today, dr said to make an appointment, the lady at the x-ray place said they have a walk in.

I am not sure what it is now and the x-ray place is hard to get in touch with.

I'll try again tomorrow to get a clear answer.

Just hope I didn't screw up things now, it clearly says you need to do both at the same day.

Have good news also :dancing:

Jack will be arriving at schiphol around 08:30 and will be going to the interview with us :D

I think you'll be ok, Peet! From others that I've read it was a quick in and out at the xray place and most were able to do it before going to the dr appointment.

YAY!! I'm glad Jack is going to be able to be there for the interview!!

Hugs, Liz

Whohoo

Pictures please?

That is wonderful news.

I called the x-ray place again today, didn't feel comfortable with the way things went.

And this is how it was explained to me.

You don't 'need' an appointment, but the consulate insists on it. They tell people to come in right after their medical.

But, if you live close...than they ask you to call and make an appointment before the medical.

Thanks Peet...and sure, I'll get some of the pictures I have of it posted as soon as possible!

Hmmmm....that's strange...you would think that they would have the one's that have to come from out of town make the appointments and let the ones that live close just walk in...*shrugs* Hopefully it works out ok though!

Hugs, Liz

That's great, Ri!! Keep us updated on how things are going for you!!!

Pat got a call this morning from the Consulate....had to clarify a couple of things on his forms. The lady told him they were waiting for his police clearance to come back and then she'd schedule his interview. Looks like it will be late August or early September when he has it!!

Keeping my fingers crossed here!

That is interesting stuff Liz, didn't know they schedule the interview 'after' they get the police records.

LOL and I hope that since I didn't get any calls the forms I filled in were clear enough :)

So this means it all goes as plan for you and Patrick?

Yeah...I didn't know they did the either...wish I'd known it sooner though..hehe! It's been just over a week now since Pat mailed the forms back and I thought we'd have heard our interview date by now. Guess it'll be sometime next week.

And yes, its all going just as we wanted....we have been hoping for a mid to late October arrival and this should work out perfect!

How are things going for you?? Almost packed...hehe!

Great, when can he call to make the dr. appointment?

Did he have the vaccinations already?

Well, I came home early today to start packing, instead I am cleaning.

We are having such big, heavy rainfalls, the sewers can't handle anymore.

So it found a way out through the sink in my kitchen :crying:

Looks like someone puked dirty water in there, floor was flooded, dirty water in closets and drawers.

What a way to start my weekend

He'll probably call next week. He won't get the actual Packet 4 until then anyway. Do you know how far in advance he needs to have the medical? He was thinking of doing it August 18th but that only gives them one week before his interview. And no, he's not done his shots yet...soon he said..lol!

Oh noooo....that is so not a nice way to find your house! I hope it didn't damage anything!!

Oh Liz, he will have to take the date they give him unless he has a very good reason not to.

But my appointment is 1,5 week before the interview, so he may be ok with it.

Since he isn't that far away he may use the opportunity to go to the x-ray place before the medical, that way it won't cast him a whole day.

For that he does need to make an appointment though.
