LOL, not much happening on the visa front. Just awaiting completion of the NVC before I can get a bloody interview.

I did the website myself, I run as a freelance web developer on the side of my day job. well, I have been doing it full time for the last year as I am in between the USA, Holland and England! My main website is linked on that tag at the bottom of our personal site.

Oh very cool!!!! I love how you did it!! I'm trying to find something like that for Pat and I...so far I'm trying a blog but I'm not sure I'm going to like it much!

Blogger is an easy way to run a blog for free, there are tonnes of free layouts available to use, also. If you need a hand, let me know.

is 4 months normal for CR1? Because i think K1 is like a week.

I have been so busy at work with payroll, i want to make sure everyone gets paid!! Next week will be slower. AND : SPRINGBREAK!!!

I know the quickest a CR-1 has done it so far (from visajourney at least) is 21 days, but they were fully prepared and used the shortcut guide. I wasn't too prepared and we made 2 boo-boos, so add a month for the mistakes as a conservative guess and I reckon 4 months is where I'll be at when I get through.

I wonder if it has to do with the fact that I get a SSN from day one and am immediately a Permanent Resident, that they have more work to do because of that...

Oh and just let me know where you need help, I'm not exactly strapped for time so I can help as required.

WOW....four months just an NVC??? What do they do differently for your filing than they do for our K-1's?

You know, I don't really know to be honest. I know the moment I set foot in the USA, I am officially a permanent resident and can apply for a driving license, can work, get insurance, basically everything. I can't find an average timeline anywhere official, but the one here is actually 72 days, so not 4 months...but I'm sure that was what I was told it would take before.Plus, 72 days has been and gone for us, we're up to about 80 and won't be getting an interview in March as they'll have been allocated on the 14th of February. So if I'm lucky, I can get one in early April and be home just after Easter.

Really hope it all works out like that Paul.

We've been in a downward spiral the last week. With the financial set backs and me having more than one accident, we got ourselves pretty depressed. Even to the point we wondered if we could pull it off.

We almost fell into that trap of leaving each other alone.

But we didn't How easy it could have happened.

This morning I woke up and found 2 tickets in my mailbox for the end of april.

Think we need the time together.
