Hiya all. My question is this... We have just been approved as of Nov. 20th... So I am thinking the interview wont be until after the first of the year, Do you think this to? soo If that is the case will I use the income for 2007 still or will I use it for 2008 income? also I think I have been told here that I can use the child support as income... I also worked for my brother in law for a few months and was paid with out taxes coming out.. I will need to claim this on my taxes yes but it wont be until after the interview but I will need this income to show enough made for the year.. I hope I am not confusing you as I am confusing myself LOL..

Sooo... I only work for my brother in law in the summer when he needs help with his buisness, can I still count this? also , My child support has gone up since I filed for the K1 can I use this new amount... My job back home is only part time during the winter months , will this hurt me? I am going back home on the 1st of December, next monday and will be looking for full time work, If I find a full time job before the interview will that new income count also? sorry for so many questions but I want to make sure I understand this so that there is no problem at the interview..

Also I do have a friend that will cosponsor but she was out of work half of the year last year cause she had a baby.. Now if the income meets the guidelines with both of our incomes is that ok?

Thanks

ChelleKeith

You provide proof of your current and ongoing income. Previous year(s) tax returns show consistency and desire to be employed.

Yes, you can normally use child support.

If you use a co-sponsor, she will need to provide all of the same documents and supporting evidence that you will proving that she plans to make what she has in the past. I have no idea if your friend being on maternity leave will effect the income as each Consulate is very different in their standards for the I-134.

There are lots of folks here that have gone through London, check your portals link, embassy info, embassy reviews and the regional threads here on vj for more information specific to that Embassy.
