Thank you everyone for patiently answering my questions. Everything was going fine until the consular told us that my wife had to enter the US in four to six months. I knew this wasn't true because of the k3 two year advantage. Then when i read on the VISA that the 129 petition expires in three months, the emotion kicks in and irrationale took control.

Thank God I can start to laugh at myself again.

One final question, is there a need for further medical checkups when she enters the US for the adjustment of status, or will we need only the shots record? I want her to get as many things done here as possibile. I read somewhere that the medical checkup she received for the k3 is valid only for one year.

If I could go back I would have had my wife do all the vaccinations in her home country, and we would only have had to pay to have the form filled out when she arrived in the US. The vaccinations / exams usually cost less overseas and they aren't covered under health insurance here unfortunately. The USCIS civil surgeon here was a greasy looking cash-only type who I would NEVER trust the healthcare of my wife, children, or myself to. Other than just making sure all the vaccinations are complete and having that vaccination form filled out to send in with your I485 package you're good to go.

The medical does expire after a year, and there is a possibility she will have to repeat the exam if you wait too late to file. I do not know if it has to be within a year of filing or within a year of processing / approval. Most AOS applications are done and over within that year's time.

Good luck!
