My interview is on Friday 21st Nov 2008. Packet 4 was lost in the post, so I found out my interview date by phoning the Embassy.

My question is: is there any particular way I should arrange my paperwork for my interview? Do they like it in a hard folder, or in plastic envelopes or what? Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I had 3 folders of evidence: docs relating to my relationship (ie phone bills, plane tickets, photos, emails, greeting cards, letter of intention to marry from my then fiance); then I had a folder regarding my official K1 docs - affividat of support, criminal check certificate etc....copies of my chap's tax returns, letter from his employer (ie all the documents the embassy requested you to complete, attach or print. I took 2 copies of each). Finally I had info me: qualification certificates, birth certificate etc.

In terms of kind of folder I'd select transparent, lightweight ones. Also I'd arrange the information with subject dividers as it makes it easier to retrieve stuff when asked. Thats what I did and it worked well as the the queue outside the embassy was very long...And, as it was, the officer didn't look at anything other than the official documents we're requested to bring with us.

I'm sure other people will have more comprehensive tips than me but I hope this helps. :star:
