I don't know, i wouldn't tattoo the name of my child either, I just don't like it. It doesn't make me love my husband or my child less. It's just a personal preference.

My ex-husband has my daughter's name on his back with a keltic (sp?) cross. It's very nice.

At least you know you'll always be with your kids.

My fiance is very heavily tattooed, I asked him if he was giong to have my name added, and it was a definate NO he said you should only have immediate family or someone who has died, so I will have to wait till after I have passed on for him to do it and then it wont matter as I would not be able to see it

I would love a tattoo but I am a woos and scared of needles, I am already panicing about the jabs I will have to have for aos and only got out noa2 yesterday ha ha

That's cool. I've never gotten a tattoo and honestly, probably never will. Just don't want anything that permanent.

Plus I'm afraid when I'm old it'll look funny.

I don't think names are cool either.

It depends in where your tattoo is, I think. If you have it on your stomach or something then it will get wrinkly. I had mine on my shoulder cause who last saw a wrinkly, saggy shoulder?

To the OP, if you have to ask peoples opinion it means you haven't really thought about what you want. There's nothing worse than getting a tattoo when you aren't sure. I was told if you see a design keep it in mind for a few months then look at it again. Make sure you truly like it before being inked. I have three tattoos and for each I was absolutely sure I wanted it before I had it done.

You obviously aren't familiar with the OP. He's probably already got it and is passed out in a gutter somewhere at this early hour.

If people are going to have tattoos of their SO's name, they should have just the name. That way, when your SO dumps you for being an idiot and getting a tattoo of their name on your body, you can add "F#ck" in front of their name.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
