Trying to find an absolute answer about DV process

have been hearing conflicting things about the DV portion of the process. Has this been eliminated or not? Seems some are still paying the fees(which is ok too me, no big deal)...but is the verification still occurring or not?

count me in! a lot of people are saying just go ahead and get it, it won't hurt.. but my husband is getting annoyed with me.. hahaha... one minute i tell him no need, the next minute i'm telling him to go to the bank. his interview date is on Nov 18.. we already have the CENMAR, just no DV Edited October 28, 2008 by thirdsjen

yeah, i saw that too.. with the updated date of OCT 2008.. but on the PDF "packet 4," it is missing... i'll just make him go get it.. he can whine all he wants but better be safe than sorry..

I agree...a better safe than sorry position is the best to take at the time. Paying the fee is no concern to me, but the completion of the process is what is concerning too me. If we can remove on step; all the more better.

i just got off the phone with delbros 3392761 loc 114. The guy i talked to was very nice. and YES the embassy is still doing document verification. THis is how document verification works:

1.. par the 650 pesos at metrobank

2.. text delbros to tell them that you made your payment

3. delbros confirms your payment..

4. BUT here's the catch.... the US embassy has to notify delbros and give them the list of the case numbers they want a document verification for.

5. That's when delbros delivers the USE's request for your documents it to the NSO.

6. THe US embassy then has their representative go to the NSO to pick up the documents.
