confuse about delbros document verification

hello to everybody here on visajourney! Please enlighten me about how the delbros document verification works. I paid mine last Sep 29, 2008 which is one month before my interview.. I paid them even though i havent had my interview scheduled and just texted them about my payment on Oct 3, 2008 after scheduling my interview.

But im not sure how they work. Just recently, I texted them to ask the status and the reply was "we already confirmed your payment for doc. verification on Oct 3, 2008 we are still waiting for your verification form to be forwarded by the embassy, Thanks" So does it mean the embassy here will forward them some kind of my papers and they will verify it then it will be forwarded back to the embassy? what is the NSO role on those?

I also heard that document verification is a delay too for those who are waiting for their visas.

Hi!

Melissa, you won't be able to received any verification form for your Document Verification processing.

But the new regulation now is that Document Verification is no longer needed since there are so many backlogs happened in the past. So what they do now is request all original copies of birth certificate, cenomar and even NBI. So if i were you, you'd better start requesting new copies of your birth certificate, NBI and cenomar now.

maybe the reason whY this is takIng so long, is the NSO itself. you know nman how local agencies work here in the phil. I remember 1 time I went to file for my BC in NSO, and it took me 3 hours! some of there employees kasi were just sitting lng nman but won't entertain applicants . its not even their break time yet. then when I was in the cashier na, the lady was reading a magazine Nman!

btw, for those who have undergone DV, how long did you wait to receive your visa?

I actually didnt have an idea that ill be needing DV coz I'm on IR2 until the CO told me. so I wasn't able to pay ahead of time.

Agree ako sayo nbjsb.. They work too slow here. I just hope they dont need DV anymore then it would be much better for us!
