Hello to all ! my friend is traveling to Guangzhou China soon for her interview, does anybody know any good reasonable hotels nearby the embassy that doesn't cost and arm and a leg ? Thank you, I wait for any replies.

Guangzhou is on hotels.com

I stayed at the Garden Hotel before and it was really nice. I'm not sure if it's near the embassy.

hello, good luck on her interview, joan and I stayed at the hotel 7 simple but very clean, and a short taxi ride from there, cost 148 rmb.

on candle for love website they advise a certain fellow named Yang that has apartments for about 200-300 rmb that are right across from the consulate. this fellow is well connected and can hook your sugar up with everything guangzhou like medical, documents prep, translations, etc. my wife stayed with them for 5 days, and was very happy. the yang's are good character, but not much english. guangdonghua, and putonghua.
