Boo Boo, Left someone off the APP!!

Well, this is big I'm afraid.

While preparing the original I-129 application for my fiances' k-1 visa I left one of her three children off the page while filling out the biographic data sections of the form. This is the youngest and most important child in terms of traveling to the U.S. later on...(I remember that I didn't know her date of birth offhand and somehow left her name off completely with the intent of adding it later).

The packet went out, we were approved etc., and NOW we have her interview for the K-1 in BOGOTA on October 20.

I have looked at the U.S. Embassy page for Bogota and see that they take "Immigrant Visa" phone questions once per week, and have an e-mail address as well. Apart from trying both of these options is there anything else I might do to add this childs name to the application at this late date?

Is a revised app. needed, or can I tweak this process enough to proceed with the current one, keep the interview date, etc.?

mmm this is just a question but how come her part of it did not include the child? You know the parts she filled out.

The I-129 is the form that I meant, totally my responsibility to complete and sign...and I just plain omitted the child despite thinking I had reviewed the packet for completeness.

The 325 which she completes doesn't request info on children

You will have to do another petition for the kid in the future I think. I don't see Bogota or any Consulate making an exception for a mistake you unfortunately made.

Petition means start everything over, or is their some intermediary step you guys know of to add this child?
